This is a component system.

Purchasing additional rods for your scroll frame allows you to have multiple projects going at the same time. These rods have webbing so you can baste your needlework to the rods. But, these rods also have the Loop portion in addition to webbing, so you may use either the Hook & Loop System, or the basting method to attach your needlework to the rods. Sold as a pair.

Side extender bars (2 pieces) are the pieces that hold the scroll rods apart. 

Build the Perfect Scroll frame: 1. Choose your rods, choose your side extender bars, add a set of knobs and if using the Hook & Mount system, add a pack of velcro Stitch tape for fabric. If basting your fabric, then no need for the velcro tape.
