The model for this sewing case was stitched on 32-count Toasted Almond Belfast linen from Zweigart using threads from Anchor,The Gentle Art  (Sampler Threads), and Weeks Dye Works.  DMC substitutions are provided.  When closed, the case measures almost 4 inches square.

Stitches used:  cross stitch, smyrna cross, satin stitch, tent stitch, closed herringbone, slanted gobelin variation, french knot, backstitch, and nun's stitch.  If desired, cross stitch can be substituted for the majority of these stitches.

In addition to the chart and detailed directions (including stitch diagrams), the package includes the lining and assembly instructions for your sewing case.  The finishing is completed by hand.
