A lovely band sampler worked in cream on cream.

The design by Carol Tinson has black and white charts printed 10 threads to two centimetres on three sides of A4 with the complete design shown separately. The pattern uses satin stitch, symrna cross stitch, four-sided stitch, algerian eyelet, cross stitch, hem stitch, herringbone stitch, pulled ring stitches and variations. There are stitch diagrams for all. The pattern uses Dinky Dyes Silk in cream, Perle cotton no.12 in cream and Mill Hill Petite beads 40123 cream.
