In the tradition of Jacobean Crewel wool embroidery, Catherine has designed this circular piece of work on linen, using a variety of the old traditional stitches in a new refreshing way.

This design can be framed, made into a cushion, or set into a cirular pole frame as used by ladies in the Elizabethan times to protect their faces from the heat of the fire.
