Weekly Classes
Allthreads Embroidery offers regular weeekly casual classes in a variety of embroidery techniques. These classes are held on the following days: Tuesdays 9.30am to 12.30pm - tutor Debbie Mercer; Tuesdays 12.30 to 3.30pm - tutor Debbie Mercer; Wednesday 9.30am to 12.30pm - tutor Cheryl Taylor; Wednesday 12.30 to 3.30pm - Hardanger and Drawn Thread class - tutor Carmel O'Meara; Thursday 9.30am to 12.30pm; Thursday 12.30 to 3.30pm - tutor Debbie Mercer Saturday 9.00am to 12.00pm - tutor Debbie MercerAll classes include morning or afternoon tea/supper. Supplies fo all classes are available in the shop.
Bookings are essential as class sizes are limited. Our classes are personal and friendly and a range of embroidery techniques are on offer in these classes. Samples of student's achievements are on display at the shop. Feel free to come and have a look.
Debbie Mercer is "Tutor in residence" at Allthreads Embroidery and takes most of our regular weekly classes. Debbie is an experienced embroidery teacher and designer and is more than willing to assist students in all forms of embroidery techniques.
Every year we host a range of visiting tutors from interstate and overseas at the shop to conduct workshops in new and exciting embroidery techniques.
In 2012 the tutors to visit the shop are Trish Burr, Jan Kerton, Jenny McWhinney, Margaret Light, Maree Talbot, Catherine Howell, Alison Snepp, and Alison Cole.

These workshops offer an ideal opportunity to learn new techniques and be inspired by tutors with vast experience and skills. Numbers in the workshops are limited so that maximum benefit is gained.
